I am trying to call the 1902 competition number and can’t get through, how can I fix this?

This happens when you do not have premium services enabled on your phone. To fix this, call your phone carrier (E.g. Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Virgin etc) and ask them to enable premium services – just let them know you’d like to be able to call a 1902 number from your phone.  Once your carrier has confirmed that premium services are enabled please try entering again.


I am trying to send a text message (SMS) to the 19 competition number and it’s not sending.  How do I fix this?  Do I get any confirmation that my SMS has been received?

If your text message entry was received you will receive a text message reply with ‘Thanks for entering’ in it – this is confirmation that your entry was successful. If you do not get this response, or you get an error message stating the number is unavailable/insufficient funds/message not sent etc., this happens when you do not have premium services enabled on your phone. To fix this, call your phone carrier (E.g. Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Virgin etc) and ask them to enable premium services. When your carrier has confirmed that premium services are enabled please try entering again.


I am trying to enter using the smartphone link provided and it gives me an error page, why isn’t working for me?

If you are entering on the smartphone link provided you need to make sure you:

  • Are you using a mobile phone? The smartphone link will not work on a computer.
  • Are you using a smartphone? For example, an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy.  The smartphone link will only work on a smartphone.
  • Are using your phone’s 3G/4G internet? Using a WiFi internet connection will not work.

If you are using your phone’s internet connection and still experiencing issues, please clear the cookies in your web browser and try again. If this does not resolve the issue please contact your phone carrier (E.g. Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Virgin etc) and ask them to check if premium services is enabled, and if you can access direct carrier billing with your account.

Note: Some carriers do not allow entry by direct carrier billing (this is the type of billing used in the mobile website), so you will need to check with them if you can enter using this smartphone site.


How much does it cost to enter?

Entries are $0.55 each (ie 55cents) each.  You may enter as many times as you like.


The competition is in AEDT/AEST time.  What does this mean?

Competitions are generally run in AEDT/AEST time (NSW time), so you need to ensure you convert this time into your time zone.  Please check what the time difference it is between you and NSW.  So, if you’re in Queensland, make sure you have your entry in at the equivalent time.


If I’m drawn a winner, what happens next?

The lucky winner will be contacted by the Competition Owner within 3 business days of the draw.
